
Beef & Chicken Raw Dog Food Recipe
You should be able to source most ingredients for this recipe at the supermarket, making it an easy go to.
Chicken necks are a great, inexpensive source of calcium and phosphorus, but if you dog is larger or gulps them, you can swap for wings or drumsticks.
Sardines add lots of anti-inflammatory omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin D, and tinned ones are ok if fresh aren’t available.
INGREDIENTS
• 400gm lean beef mince
• 200gm chicken necks
• 50gm beef liver, diced
• 100gm sardines
• 50gm egg
• 100gm sweet potato, cubed
• 90gm cauliflower, chopped
• 8gm chia seeds
• 1gm kelp powder
• 1gm wheatgrass powder
METHOD
• Steam the vegetables until tender
• Combine the vegetables with oils, seeds and powder in a bowl and mix until well combined
• Portion meat, vegetable mix and necks into daily serves and freeze or store in the fridge for a few days
SERVES 6-8 OR 3-4 DAYS OF FOOD FOR A 10KG DOG
