This surf and turf recipe features a blend of fish and molluscs, which are very rich in minerals and omega 3 fatty acids for brain health and anti-inflammatory properties.

This is balanced with beef and hempseeds, which offer omega 6 for a healthy balance of fatty acids.

INGREDIENTS

• 250gm beef mince, lean
• 250gm white fish, diced
• 100gm sardines, in springwater • 50gm mussels, tinned
• 50gm oysters, tinned
• 102gm eggs
• 100gm sweet potato, cubed
• 50gm zucchini, grated
• 25gm spinach, chopped
• 5gm parsley, chopped
• 5gm eggshell/calcium
• 5gm hempseeds
• 5gm psyllium husk powder
• 3gm wheat germ oil
• 0.5gm kelp powder

METHOD

1. Steam the sweet potato until soft
2. Drain the sardines, mussels and oysters
3. Add all of the ingredients to a food processor and blitz to
fully combine
4. Using your hands, form patties that are approximately the size of your dog’s meals
5. Pan or airfry the patties if cooking, or refrigerate/freeze if serving raw

6-8 SERVES OR 3-4 DAYS OF FOOD FOR A 10KG DOG
