Raw dog food recipe - chicken wing and roo 

A mix of kangaroo and chicken provides loads of protein and a well-balanced blend of fatty acids in this recipe.

Cod liver oil, wheatgrass and turmeric offer potent anti-inflammatory qualities that will help your dog heal from any ill health effects they experience as a result of being overweight.

INGREDIENTS

• 400gm kangaroo, mince or chunks 
* 300gm chicken wings or necks
• 50gm lamb liver, diced
• 55gm eggs
• 100gm sweet potato
• 60gm mushrooms
• 30gm green beans
• 3gm chia seeds
• 0.5gm cod liver oil
• 0.5gm turmeric powder
• 0.5gm wheatgrass powder
• 0.5gm kelp powder

METHOD

  1. Steam the sweet potatoes and green beans until tender

  2. Sautee the mushrooms

  3. Add all of the ingredients to a large bowl, setting the

    chicken wings or necks aside

  4. Mix to fully combine and portion into serves

  5. Add a wing or neck to some of the serves and feed on alternate days

  6. Note that if you have a smallish dog, you may feed a whole

    chicken wing as a meal. For even smaller dogs, use necks and feed as a meal or with some of the meat and veggie mix

6-8 SERVES OR 3-4 DAYS OF FOOD FOR A 10KG DOG
