"When I go to pet mince direct I try buy a months worth of meat to keep in the deep freeze to have it there ready to go.
I just buy my veg from the supermarket so actually could go even cheaper if I went to a fruit market!
When my shopping comes I pre chop and freeze it ready for when I need to cook.
The sardines come in a large bag so just take out 1-2 per meal.
