Raw Dog Food At Home Recipe - Chicken & Pork

In this recipe, we use pork as one of the proteins. Pork is an under-utilised protein for many dogs, but it is rich in protein, B vitamins and the mineral selenium.



Beef liver is incredibly nutrient dense, complementing the low levels of copper
in chicken and adding plenty of vitamin A.

Raw food

Broccoli, apples and flaxseeds are high in fibre for digestive health, also
offering prebiotic benefits to support the good gut bacteria necessary to
keep the immune system firing.

INGREDIENTS

• 360gm pork mince
• 250gm chicken drumsticks
• 70gm beef liver, diced
• 70gm sardines
• 40gm oysters, tinned
• 100gm broccoli, chopped
• 100gm apple, grated
• 8gm flaxseeds, ground
• 1gm wheatgrass powder
• 1gm kelp powder

METHOD
• Steam the broccoli until tender
• Grind the flaxseeds in a coffee grinder or mortar and pestle
• Combine the broccoli, grated apple and seeds with the powders in a bowl and mix until well combined
• Portion out meat, vegetable blend and drumsticks into daily serves and freeze or store in the fridge for a few days
